Palamatic articulating jib cranes are an
excellent and economical alternative to manipulators in many handling
situations.
Articulation allows full span reach around
vertical obstructions such as pillars, columns and tall production
equipment. Reach in and reach under lifting may also be done if height
restrictions are adequate for the end of arm lifting device, such as a
vacuum lift tube, hoist or balancer.
Vacuum festooning can be avoided by routing the vacuum flow through the
structural tubular arms, reducing dust collection points and wipe or wash
down time.
